THE COLLABORATIVE PROCESS

In the Collaborative process, with the guidance of your Collaborative Team of Professionals, you and your spouse will develop your own solutions to the problems you face.

As such, the Collaborative Process tends to achieve more positive outcomes, generating fair, practical and longer lasting settlements and solutions for both of you.

At the start of the process, you and your spouse with your lawyers will sign a special agreement that none of the parties  will go to court.

What Collaborative Practice means for you:

  1. A compassionate and caring attorney will represent you throughout your divorce process.

  1. You will avoid the intensified emotions and conflict that result from court proceedings.

You maintain control of decisions regarding your life and future, and that of your children.

  1. Disputes are settled constructively, allowing you to regain your balance and move forward with a positive outlook.

You can expect transparency and an honest exchange of information throughout the process.

You and your spouse will reach mutually agreeable solutions during a series of facetoface meetings.

A team of skilled and caring professionals from areas of family law, counseling and financial planning will work together to assist you and your spouse in navigating the myriad aspects of separation and divorce.
